However, we will only display your Ship Name and Oar Number, unless you agree to you own name being displayed as well. We will never display your email address. We will not disclose any other information you provide without your specific permission. If you can't remember your ship/oar numb please enter shipname=Argonaut and oar=0. Welcome to the website of The Friends of the National Film and Sound Archive Inc (FNFSA). The Friends is a group of volunteer advocates working to further the aims of the Archive and to encourage links between the Archive, the film and sound communities and the general community. It is a separate organisation to the NFSA itself.

The Melbourne Group of the FNFSA aims to extend the geographic reach of the Canberra-based association, in particular through the hosting of local events and webinars of relevance to the work and collections of the NFSA, to which we welcome both current and future Friends Members.
