The Zoom was at 2pm, 20 October 2024. The recording is at https://youtu.be/ZFSvV01oehU

Attendees had the opportunity to ask Bob questions.

Bob Phillips started out as a spool boy for Hoyts cinemas, transitioning to a film projectionist. As cinemas began closing he moved to television, initially editing film before progressing to floor managing and eventually as executive television producer, producing iconic television with Graham Kennedy, Bert Newton, Daryl Somers, Don Lane, Mike Walsh, Ernie Sigley and Steve Vizard among others. He also managed a large talent agency and made pop music video clips in the early 1970s, including for Brian Cadd and Don Mudie.

Bob was married to well known actor Judy Banks, who among many memorable roles was presenter of 'Fredd Bear's Breakfast A Go-Go'. In later years they became the keepers of television memorabilia, creating Australia's first TV & media museum, TV World, now housed by ACMI at Federation Square.
