Jan Müller new director RPO
The Supervisory Board of the RPO has appointed Jan Müller (1967) as director. He succeeds Gerard Schuiteman. Jan Müller, currently still working in Australia, will take office on February 1, 2021.
Müller knows the broadcasting world well. From 2009 to 2017 he was general director of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, which partly originated from public broadcasting. He then accepted the position as CEO of The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia in Canberra, which he developed from analogue archive to a national media institution like Sound and Vision. Müller started his career in the advertising world and worked there for 20 years; the last 6 years as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi. In addition to 20 years of administrative experience, he also brings a lot of knowledge of digital culture and innovation.
